Christians are suppose to go to a Bible believing, Bible preaching church, but there's a danger in going to church if you are not rooted and grounded in God's love. There's a danger in going to church if you are not abiding in Christ. There's a danger in going to church if you haven't entered into the rest of our Lord. The danger is this. If you are not abiding in Christ, every time you leave church, you will leave with a bag of guilt if the message you heard was about something you should be doing that you are not doing or about something you shouldn't be doing, and you are doing it. If you are not abiding in Christ, every time you leave church, you will leave with a bag of pride, if the message was about something you have already mastered and actually think you are better than most people in that area. But, oh, if you are resting on what Christ did on Calvary's cross for you, if you are abiding in Christ and his love for you, no matter what message is preached, you will leave humbled because you have heard from heaven and whatever it was, God will do it all through you. God will take care of it. God will work it out.
