WELCOME TO MY BLOG

My name is Barbara Frone and I welcome you to my blog. I pray that my walk with God will encourage your heart and that God will bless you for every step you take towards him. God has a plan for each and every one of us and if we will earnestly seek him every day, he will not only show us his plan for our lives, but he will live it through us. We serve an amazing God!

HOW DO YOU GET THIRSTY FOR GOD AND HIS WORD?

"O God, thou art my God; early will I see thee:  my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; to see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.  Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.  Thus will I bless thee while I live:  I will lift up my hands in thy name.  My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:  When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.  Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.  My soul followeth hard after thee:  thy right hand upholdeth me."  Psalm 63:1-8

Are you wondering how you get thirsty for God and his Word?  Are you going through a time where you don't know what to say to God?  Are you wondering when you are going to understand what you are reading in God's Word?

Don't wonder anymore.  Just keep talking to God.  Keep asking him questions.  Keep giving him your cares.  Keep thanking him.  Keep praising him.  Keep praying for yourself and others.  God wants to know if you really want to get to know him or if you are just putting in your time or just going through the motions.  God doesn't reveal himself to just anybody.  He reveals himself to those who earnestly seek him.

"But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul."  Deuteronomy 4:29

Draw nigh unto God and he will draw nigh to you.  Read his Word as if you were searching for hidden treasure and God will show you things you have never seen before.  Praise him for his goodness and for who he is.

"The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant."  Psalm 25:14

Fearing God is having a reverential awe of him.  To fear God is to honor and praise him for who he is, our Creator, our Father, our Savior.

Keep talking to God.  Keep reading his Word, because once you hear his voice in your spirit and his Word starts coming alive in your life, you will become thirsty for more of him.
