Abraham considered not (thought about, meditated on) what he saw in his body or his wife's body, but considered the promise of God. Do you want to see more miracles in your life? Then consider God's promises and consider not your problems. Think about and meditate on God's promises and not on your circumstances.
There is only one other place in the Bible where someone, actually someones, considered not. In Mark 6:45, after Jesus fed the 5,000, He told the disciples to get into the ship and cross over to Bethsaida, while He sent the people away.
After Jesus sent the people away and spent some time in prayer, He saw the disciples in the middle of the sea. The wind was blowing against them and they were rowing hard. Jesus walked on the water towards them, but when they saw Him they were afraid because they thought He was a ghost. Now here is where you need to really stop and put on your thinking cap, because this is where it's gets bumpy. The Bible says in Mark 6:51-52, the disciples "were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered. For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened." Their heart was hardened because they considered not the miracle of the loaves. Our hearts will harden if we consider not God's promises and only consider our circumstances. Ponder this for a moment. Hardened hearts are not just rebellious hearts. Hardened hearts are hearts full of unbelief. Faith comes by hearing God's Word which is full of His promises. Consider God's promises and not your problems. Meditate on God's promises and not your circumstances. Think about God's promises and not how you feel.
Here is something to think about. You can explain the natural. You can figure out the natural. But the supernatural you cannot explain or figure out. So don't consider your problems. Don't consider your circumstances. Don't consider how you feel. Find a promise from God that covers your problem. Find a promise from God which comforts you. Consider God's promises which cannot be explained because they are supernatural. Do you want more miracles in your life? Then meditate on God's promises and not on your circumstances and remember, miracles are supernatural.
"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18
